This paper examines the integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial
Intelligence (AI) within the framework of the "smart home" concept. It analyzes the fundamental
principles of IoT system operation, their architecture, and the role of AI in data processing and
decision-making. Special attention is given to the automation of household processes, improving
energy efficiency, and ensuring residential security. The benefits of implementing intelligent
technologies are discussed, along with existing challenges such as cybersecurity, personal data
protection, and device compatibility. Finally, the paper outlines the prospects for the development of
smart homes as a key element of society's digital transformation.
