Аннотация

This thesis examines the strategic role of innovative investments in driving economic modernization across the five Central Asian republics — Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. Drawing on macroeconomic data and policy reforms implemented between 2020 and 2025, the paper analyses how innovation-oriented capital allocation has reshaped sectoral productivity, technology absorption, and export competitiveness in the region. The study argues that innovative investments — particularly those targeting digital infrastructure, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, and human capital — constitute a critical lever for transforming the region's resource-dependent growth model into a more diversified, knowledge-based system. The paper concludes with policy recommendations for governments and multilateral partners aimed at strengthening absorptive capacity, regulatory quality, and regional cooperation mechanisms required to sustain innovation-led development.
