Mazkur maqolada maktabgacha yoshdagi bolalarda, ayniqsa 4–5 yosh davrida xotira rivojlanishining psixologik xususiyatlari tahlil qilingan. Tadqiqotning maqsadi maktabgacha yosh davrida xotira turlarining shakllanishi, ularning kognitiv, nutqiy va hissiy jarayonlar bilan o‘zaro bog‘liqligini ilmiy manbalar asosida yoritishdan iborat. Tadqiqotda nazariy tahlil, taqqoslash va umumlashtirish metodlaridan foydalanilgan. Adabiyotlar tahlili natijalari maktabgacha yoshda obrazli va vizual xotira yetakchi o‘rin tutishini, ixtiyoriy va verbal xotira esa bosqichma-bosqich rivojlanishini ko‘rsatdi. Shuningdek, o‘yin faoliyati, ko‘rgazmalilik, jismoniy faollik hamda emotsional muhit xotira rivojlanishining asosiy omillari sifatida aniqlandi. Tadqiqot natijalari maktabgacha ta’lim amaliyotida xotirani rivojlantirishga qaratilgan pedagogik yondashuvlarni takomillashtirishda qo‘llanilishi mumkin.
