This article explores the formation of speaking competence in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classrooms through the integration of biographical texts and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based tools. Speaking competence is considered a key component of communicative competence, yet it remains one of the most challenging skills for learners to master. The study proposes a methodological framework that combines authentic biographical materials – particularly works related to Eastern scholars and Western figures – with modern AI technologies to enhance students’ communicative abilities.
