The integration of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) into public service delivery is reshaping modern governance by improving efficiency, transparency, and citizen engagement. Governments are increasingly adopting digital platforms, cloud computing, big data analytics, and AI-driven systems to automate administrative processes and support evidence-based decision-making. AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics enable more responsive and personalized public services. However, this transformation also presents challenges, including data privacy concerns, algorithmic bias, limited infrastructure, and a shortage of skilled professionals. This paper examines the role of digital technologies and AI in public service delivery, analyzes key implementation challenges, and explores global trends and best practices. The study concludes that successful digital transformation requires a balanced approach that combines technological innovation with ethical governance, regulatory frameworks, and human capacity development.
