Numerous studies demonstrate that artificial intelligence (AI) significantly enhances the
personalization of foreign language learning. AI-driven tools such as adaptive learning platforms
and intelligent tutoring systems can tailor content and feedback to individual learners’ needs,
abilities, and learning styles [2]. For instance, Yunina (2023) highlights that AI enables the creation
of adaptive learning environments that adjust to each student's pace and preferences, thereby
increasing the effectiveness of language acquisition [7]. Similarly, Sysoyev et al. (2024) emphasize
that AI technologies facilitate personalized feedback and customized learning trajectories, which are
crucial for developing communicative competence and reducing learner anxiety [15]. The use of
neural networks and natural language processing (NLP) allows for real-time adjustments in teaching
materials, fostering autonomous learning and improving overall language proficiency [18].
Moreover, AI-based adaptive systems are particularly valuable during periods of global instability,
as they ensure continuous, personalized instruction regardless of external circumstances [24]. These
findings collectively underscore AI’s capacity to individualize language education, making learning
more efficient and aligned with each learner’s unique profile.
